About Zayda Kebede

I treat patients of all ages, and seem to be attracting a lot of children at the moment.
Homeopathy is capable of helping with any type of complaint, be it on a physical, emotional of mental level. The remedies prescribed are all made from what nature provides, as in not made from chemicals, and are not tested on animals. Each patient receives at least one hour’s consultation time at the first appointment, and then approximately 40 minutes for follow up appointments. Children’s consultations are usually shorter.
Every patient being a unique individual means that they are not given a one-size-fits all prescription. Two people with migraine most likely won’t be given the same remedy because their migraine will be different and other aspects of their physicality and mental make up will be different. Because homeopathy treats the whole person and not the symptom I need to know what my patients personalities are like as well as what kind of physical pain they may complain of.
Mostly patients say that they have enjoyed their consultation, and often start to feel better because of it. Which is not to say that it’s all in the mind! It is just that when a rapport develops between the homeopath and the patient there is a feeling of hope.

My training, work experience and any achievement

I studied in a small workshop style class in London with some very experienced teachers called the School of Classical homeopathy, qualifying in 1999. The course was accredited by the Society of Homeopaths. I was accepted as a member of the professional body named the Alliance of Registered Homeopaths www.a-r-h.org which holds me to their high standards of ethics. I attend in person and online further courses as we never stop learning and it is demanded that we do so as members. We also contribute to a professional health practitioners insurance via Balens.I have also trained in the C.E.A.S.E method of treatment for autistim, inititated by Tinus Smits. see www.cease-therapy.com

Further Information

My aim is to make myself redundant, and to achieve freedom from symptoms in the shortest possible time, with the gentlest treatment. Homeopathy is not for lifetime drugging, but a short period of using remedies until the patient feels better and no longer needs treatment.
Children tend to react favourably to remedies much faster than adults. With all patients it is not possible to tell how long treatment will take, but there is usually a gradual, visible improvement from within the first month.
I usually see patients once every 4 or 5 weeks, to monitor progress and often to give more of the same remedy or another remedy if appropriate.
